Your questions, answered.

We'll be keeping this updated regularly, so you can count on us to share the latest answers to our patients' questions and any concerns they might have.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can book directly with us at any time.

Is podiatry safe for people with diabetes?

Yes - and it’s strongly recommended. We carry out full neurovascular checks and tailor treatment to your risk level. If anything requires further input, we’ll guide you clearly.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Any medical history, medication list, orthotics you currently use, and a pair of shoes you wear regularly.

Do you offer
nail surgery?

Yes. We provide partial and full nail procedures under local anaesthetic when appropriate. We’ll always attempt conservative options first where suitable.

How long are appointments?

We allow enough time for a thorough assessment without rushing - usually 30–45 minutes depending on the service.

Is treatment painful?

Most treatments are comfortable. Procedures such as nail surgery are done under local anaesthetic to keep you pain-free.
